... toivottavasti monta edessä! Kirkko juhlisti tänään pyhän isän paaviksi valitsemisen neljättä vuosipäivää. Rukoilkaamme paavimme Benedictuksen puolesta; kirkko ja maailma tarvitsevat häntä!
Riippumaton blogi katolisesta liturgiasta.
Niin kuin pyhä isä sanoi kirjeessään piispoille 7.7.2007:
"Olkaamme avosydämisiä ja tehkäämme tilaa kaikelle, minkä usko itse sallii."

Fr. Benjamin Durham (FSSP) offered the Holy Mass at parish of Holy Cross (Tampere, Finland) on April 3. The Mass was Commemoration of the 7 sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
In his sermon, Fr. Durham discussed the connection between the holy liturgy and the original atmosphere at foot of the Holy Cross of our Lord. Fr. Durham asked us to contemplate, how the people close to our Lord, including the Blessed Mother, acted at foot of the Cross during the crucifixion. Did they sing or dance? Did they speak or did they have a chat? Or rather, were they just watching this most incomprehensible event in the history of mankind, in silent and deep prayer? When you proposed to meet at 11 o'clock in front of the Cathedral you were presumably unaware that the earliest boat that leaves Helsinki on Sunday morning arrives in Tallinn at 12.30 (M/S Tallink Star 10-30-12.30).Secondly, the only boat that leaves Helsinki on Saturday evening after 18.00 (as necessary according to your earlier explanation) and arrives at a decent time that still allows to land and go to the sleeping place is Tallink's M/S Baltic Princess (18:30-22:00). Bearing in mind that it is quite pointless to arrive at 22.00 and then to go straight to bed around 23.00 (and to pay for lodging), I propose that all of you take the Viking Line boat that leaves Helsinki at 21.30, arrives in Tallinn at 00.00 and allows you to sleep in the boat. In this case you could come out of the boat early on Sunday morning which would leave you some time to walk around the town for a while -- to have a morning coffee in one of the many nice cafeteria etc.As regards returning to Helsinki on late Sunday evening, the only option is the 21:00-23:00 M/S Tallink Star.
(Summorum Pontificum, 1)
