Traditionaaliset anglikaanit omaksi personaaliprelatuurikseen?

Ns. traditionaalisen anglikaanisen kommuunion, siis anglikaanien traditionalistisiiven ja katolisen kirkon, lähinnä uskonopin kongregaation, väliset neuvottelut ovat nyt ilmeisesti johtaneet siihen, että yhteisölle on löytymässä jo juridinen "lokero" katolisessa kirkossa: personaaliprelatuuri.

Tässä vähän lisätietoa: http://www.therecord.com.au/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=757&Itemid=1

Jos kaikki menee hyvin, on eri puolilla lähinnä englanninkielistä maailmaa kohta nelisensataatuhatta katolilaista lisää. Ei näytä pahalta!

I assume all their priests will have to ordained? Doesn't the Church consider Anglican orders invlaid? At least according to Apostolicae Curae.

To be honest, I have my doubts about the whole thing because I fear it is for the wrong reasons. Personally, I think it would be better if they converted individually, that is, if they are really want to be Catholic.

I wouldn't be that pessimistic. Think about all different sorts of Catholics there are out there - if they would have had "free choice", how many would come? ;)

The Church is not only one of Saints (which excludes me, for sure) but also for sinners. In that sense, there is a wish, and a whitness (signatures in the Cathechism) of the official TAC as a corporate body. If they are to be trusted - and why not - that should be enough.

Questions remain, one being the position of the "bishops" because they cannot be Catholic bishops anyway, since they are married. I suppose they would become the regional vicars as monsignori to take care of the different regions of the personal prelature. Very interesting and promising.
